The SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier held at Aintree Equestrian Centre was won by Michaela Scott from Northamptonshire, riding her own Eddie G Z.
71 horse and rider combinations came forward to contend the first SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier of the season. 22 combinations jumped clear to go forward to the jump off. With a turn of speed and a super accurate round, it was Michaela Scott who steered her 6 year-old chestnut gelding around the course for a double clear, stopping the clock in a time of 34.27.
