Robert Murphy takes the final Voltaire Design U25 Championship Qualifier at Morris Equestrian Centre

The final Voltaire Design U25 Championship Qualifier held at Morris Equestrian Centre was won by Robert Murphy from Preston, Lancashire, riding Lightning TW, owned by Peter Charles.

21 starters came forward to contend for a place in the U25 Championship Final at the 2022 London International Horse Show in December.

Over a challenging course, three combinations produced the clear round needed to progress into the jump off, and it was Robert Murphy who came out on top. Steering the 8-year-old gelding quickly around the course, Robert and Lightning TW produced one of two double clears, but finished on an unbeatable time of 37.70 seconds, three seconds ahead of second place.
