Will Scott Brash make history as he endeavours to win his 3rd Rolex Grand Slam?

Scott’s quest to make history by being the first rider to win the Rolex Grand Slam comes to its final stages this weekend at the CSIO 5* Spruce Meadows Masters in Calgary.
London 2012 Team Gold Medallist and World No.1 rider Scott, with the tremendous Hello Sanctos owned by Lady Kirkham and Lord & Lady Harris have proved themselves unbeatable time and time again. Winning two back-to-back Rolex Major Grand Prix’s in Geneva and then Aachen they are now entirely focused on delivering their third win in Spruce Meadows which will mark them as the first athletes who have ever won the Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping.
The Rolex Grand Slam of Showjumping offers a €1 million bonus to any rider who can win all three events in a row and Scott looks to be in a solid position to achieve just that. The Grand Slam was first launched in 2013 and since then no rider has managed to achieve their dream of being the first to achieve the challenge set them by Rolex.
Scott and Sanctos, won their first Rolex Major Grand Prix in Geneva last December before going on to win the second in Aachen in May. Talking about his hopes for this weekend he said “A Major is a Grand Prix that every rider wants to win and it was one of my ultimate dreams to win in Aachen. It was a wonderful feeling and I’m now excited and looking forward to Spruce Meadows.
“What Rolex has done for the sport is incredible. They have put this series on, which is fantastic for us riders to aim for. It has really generated more publicity for the sport, a lot more people are following our journey to see if we can do it”.
