Zoe Shields takes the Pony Bronze League 148cm & Under Final

Only six riders out of the fifty-three starters jumped clear in the first round of the Pony Bronze League 148cm & Under Final at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships taking place at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. With a successful first round under their belt, Zoe Shields and Fast Fun, known as Fun at home, took the jump off by storm finishing the class as the only clear round.

A proud Zoe exclaimed: “Just amazing, my first big win!” The combination travelled from Darlington and will be competing in the Discovery Final later today. Zoe’s mum told us: “I am dead proud of her; she’s done so well!”

Rebecca Norman and Trevadlock Golden Pearl took second place, with Bertie Travis and Atlantic Hill taking third.

The Bronze and Silver Pony/Rider Combination League was introduced by British Showjumping in 2014 and allows all pony riders to be able to track their progress on a regional and national league table.
