British Riders Continue their Success on the International Stage in this week's Round Up

Strong Showing for British Riders at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Oslo, Norway
At the opening FEI Jumping World Cup Show, British Riders impressed in the Rikstoto 5* Grand Prix where forty-three starters set out to take on the challenge of Italy’s Elio Travagliati track with 11 advancing into the jump off, including two riders for Great Britain – Joe Stockdale and Sameh El Dahan.
Joe Stockdale produced a superb double-clear performance with his 11-year-old stallion Ebanking, owned by Barbara Hester and Laura Stockdale. The pair finished second with a time of 36.30 seconds, narrowly missing out on victory to Belgium’s Jules Van Hoydinck. Fellow Briton Sameh El Dahan also featured in the top ten, finishing ninth aboard WKD Baloue Breeze, owned by Sycamore Horse Farm.
El Dahan enjoyed a standout weekend overall, claiming two international victories. He opened his campaign with a brilliant win in the 5* Speed Class, sponsored by Crane Norway, riding WKD Toronto to a faultless round in 59.56 seconds. The 12-year-old gelding, owned jointly by Joanne Sloane-Allen and El Dahan, showed both scope and speed to secure the top spot ahead of Germany’s Gerrit Nieberg and Belgium’s Jules Van Hoydinck.
Continuing his form, El Dahan also topped the podium in the 2* Accumulator, this time with WKD Aimez Moi, a 15-year-old mare also co-owned with Joanne Sloane-Allen. The pair scored the maximum 65 points and stopped the clock in 50.02 seconds, edging out Norway’s Martine Myher Dyngeland and Switzerland’s Barbara Schnieper.
British Riders Impress in Longines Global Champions League Rabat, Morrocco
Under 25 British riders also shone in team competitions in Morrocco, delivering crucial clear rounds for their Global Champions League teams. Olli Fletcher produced a flawless first-round performance with Alison Walton and Graham Fletchers 11-year-old BP Pocahontas to help the Istanbul Warriors secure a strong third-place finish after two rounds, while also placing fifth individually.
Meanwhile, Jack Whitaker continued Britain’s excellent form, jumping clear in the opening round aboard Jack JL, an 11-year-old owned by Candice Reilly, for Madrid in Motion. His performance contributed to the team’s fifth-place after the two rounds, with Whitaker finishing 11th individually.
Both young riders demonstrated composure and consistency at the top level, reinforcing Great Britain’s depth of talent on the international show jumping stage.
