National Pony Measuring

Following changes brought in around how ponies are measured for International competitions it has been agreed that British Showjumping would operate a National Pony Measuring system which closely replicates that of the FEI.

Dates and Venues where measuring sessions will be taking place are detailed below and ponies will be able to be presented either with or without shoes.

Any ponies with a valid JMB height certificate (annual and life height) that was booked prior to 17.00hrs on 5th January 2024 do not need to be remeasured and any 148cm pony with a valid FEI certificate (interim or lifetime) do not need to be measured under the National Pony Measuring system.

Ponies in the 128cm & 138cm categories who have an FEI Height certificate will need to present at a National Pony Measuring session by 31st May 2026 and these ponies will be re measured free of charge.
