Monica Ballard and Cartier 666 win the Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Final

Some great competition played out this afternoon at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships at the NAEC, Stoneleigh for the Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Final.

From the field of over fifty combinations that came forward it was just under half the field that made it through to the jump-off.  It was Monica Ballard and Cartier 666, one of only eight double clears, that managed to achieve the fastest time to secure the title when she stopped the clock in 36.80 seconds.

Monica commented on her round: “I didn’t think she [Cartier 666] would be quick enough as the one in the lead was so quick, but she has a big stride and stepped up really well to win!”.

Cartier 666, known as Vogue at home, is a 6-year-old home bred. For the rest of the season the combination are going to try and step up to foxhunter and get their double clears.

Less than a second behind the winner, Abigail Leadbetter and Hearts Cruise take second place, with Jenna Frances Good riding KSJ Cordano Z taking third.
