Second Place for Team NAF's Ponies in the Nations Cup in Zuidwolde

The Pony team picked up second place in the CSIOP Nations Cup competition in Zuidwolde today. They finished on a total score of 12 faults after two rounds of jumping. Eight teams contended the 1.30m two round competition, with Great Britain being drawn first.

Pathfinder for Great Britain was Tabitha Kyle, aged 14 years from Loughborough in Leicestershire with the 13 year-old bay gelding Gangnam Style, owned by TJ Hall Limited. A strong performance in the first round saw the combination post a clear round. One pole lowered in the second round added a score of four faults to the team’s total score.

Next up was Izabella Rogers, aged 14 years from Chelmsford in Essex with the 9 year-old grey mare Queen Star, owned by Nicola Rogers. They added a score of 4 faults to the board in both rounds.

Phoebe Farman, aged 16 years from Cranleigh in Surrey, lowered a couple of poles to score 8 faults in the first round and 4 faults in the second round with the 11 year-old grey gelding Teachmor Joey, owned by Tracy Priest.

Sophie Evans, aged 15 years from Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, produced two foot perfect rounds in both rounds to achieve a double clear with the 11 year-old bay stallion Oscar Van De Beekerheide, owned by ESM Equestrian.

The winners were Ireland who finished on a score of zero and third place went to the Netherlands.
